Wellington's Electoral Finance protest march
Given it was a weekday, I have to say i'm very happy with the turnout for today's protest against the Electoral Finance Bill in Wellington. While we were never going to match the numbers Auckland had over the weekend (over 2000), we had several hundred turn out in the capital today.
TV1 ran the story this evening, and if you'd like to see extended coverage, i've uploaded a few videos I took today to YouTube. Will add another couple over the next day or two.
Marching down Lambton Quay
Entering the grounds of Parliament
David Farrar addressing the crowd
Stephen Franks addressing the crowd
Gordon Copeland addressing the crowd
Also, here's a photo I took of honorary ACT on Campus member Rick Giles. Click to enlarge...

Not as big as Auckland, but it was heaps of fun!
DavidF did a damn good job on short notice. Stephen Franks wasn't short of words either (in a good way :).
